PHO2x Box – Portable Cell Culture Chamber

details                      Inquiry PhO2xBox

PhO2xBox is an easy-to-use physoxia/hypoxia system for in vitro cell culture experiments.

It consists of a controller with O₂ and CO₂ control and a cell culture chamber.

The chamber can be placed on a laboratory bench, in an incubator or a workbench.

For microtiter plates, small bottles and Petri dishes.

Advantages

  • Cost-effective entry into hypoxia research
  • Additional atmosphere in workbenches/incubators
  • Cells in reduced O₂ for short-term experiments

Standard

  • Controls and monitors the O2 and CO2 content with the touch screen
  • Easy setup by the user, takes only about 10 minutes
  • Small footprint
  • O2 control (from 0.1% to 20.0% in 0.1% increments)
  • CO2 control (from 0.1% to 20.0% in 0.1% increments)
  • Hypoxic cycle

Q&A

What kind of hypoxia experiments can I do in a PhO2x box?
It is particularly suitable for short-term hypoxia experiments where no media change or cell splitting is required.

Can I place the Chamber of Culture in a CO2 incubator? How?
Yes, you can. The gas controller is left outside and the cell culture chamber is placed in the incubator. The hose passes through an inlet into the incubator.

How many 6/12/24/96 well plates fit into a small and a large chamber?
Small chamber: 8 plates (4 stacks of 2 plates each on a shelf).
Large chamber: 24 plates (4 stacks of 2 plates per shelf, 3 shelves).
